Stratton, Ontario, Canada
Every fall, everything gets it's tail clipped with scissors. I can remember a few times when I might not do it (or forget) and had to run an animal through the chute to clip off huge (20lb +) balls of crap/mud. I leave a couple inches beyond the tip of the tail, so the tip doesn't freeze off. I think I am probably the only one in my area that does it, but it saves me time in the long run and I view it as an animal welfare issue.
