| The Surface has the same ARM processor you can find in mobile phones, so unless you're only doing web browsing, I'd wait for the Surface Pro which has a much more versatile Intel full processor and will allow you to run normal Windows applications. But it's not due before march 2013 I think, so you may want to check what real tablets other competitors like Dell, Asus or Acer offer. The Surface and Surface Pro really set the bar for ARM and Intel tablets, it will be hard for other manufacturers to compete on features, although it will be easy to compete on price: the Microsoft tablets are much more expensive than anyone thought. | |
