I don't know how much you are going to be using the snowplow, but it seems to me that on the early Chevy's equipped with the Duramax, the snowplow option was not available with extended cab and long box combo.
Whether it was too much weight on the front, or too much flexing with the long frame, or a combination of both, I don't remember.
Does Dodge have a snow plow option and was it available with the cab - box combination you are looking at?
