| Uncle's dad use to farm a dry lake bed in Canada. Fields were a mile or 1.5 mile square. They use to plow "around " the field using Fordson tractors & disc plows. Uncle said they would put springs on the front axle spindles, put the tire in the furrow & take a nap. When tractor bounced across the furrow on the far end they would wake up
Neighbor fell asleep one time cultivating corn. He said he woke up when the tractor hit the corner post in the opposite side from where he started.
