Fuel quality and the machine must make every situation different. Old NH skidsteer runs on #2 all winter long and will run when the hydraulic oil won't move, gelled (waxed?) up one time at about -20 (-50 windchill) while digging trees out of the snow for firewood. Having said that I've no doubt jinxed myself and will be gelled up when I go to start it today (about +10deg).
