I do, this winter I'm planning on wintering the cows on 60 percent grass hay, 30 percent wheat straw, 10 percent alfalfa. Depending on what's available, I always feed wheat straw anywhere from 30-50 percent for cows in the first trimester depending on what is available. So far, the cows have done very well on that.
Anybody on here purchase all or a majority of their feed needs?
