As you can see, I have two fenders instead of 4. I'd just prefer to figure things out now while it's easy to change ;^) I like this design (the 90 deg bend at the base may not be there in the end) right now. 4 individual 'arched' fenders welded to flat pieces may be simpler. I just envision this piece as plastic as opposed to steel or fiberglass. To give an idea of scale: the model is 24" wide 32" front to back and about 27" to the top of the backrest. good luck -jim

 

edit: anyone know of a plastic fabricator who could do this?
