If it is a powershift rule 1 is use the "clutch pedal" which John Deere called the inching pedal as little as possible. Around the yard you will find it is actually smoother to go right to 3rd from park (with engine idled down) than into first or second and then into third. Cannot speak to your symptons put there is a torsional damper between the engine and transmission that could be coming apart. Let us know how things turn out.
