Subject: High acre planter

NE KS
Would you be worried about purchasing a newer Deere planter that has ran alot of acres? I am looking at a planter with cast row shanks, but can't help but wonder if alot of bearings, gauge wheel arms, bushings, closing wheel brackets, etc... will need attention right away. Also would centerfill be of any concern being high acres? My thinking is to be more worried about the seed lines than the meter.

Any other thoughts I'm not seeing. Would be an upgrade from an early 1770.

Bonus question:
Does anyone have an easy way to plumb a liquid fert tank and positive displacement pump on a 16/31 1790? I know JD doesn't want a tank on the frame.

Thanks.
