Subject: RE: Big push on corn harvest in Ontario

Seaforth, Ontario
Did otebos last nite to the rain. We were done a week ago but helping a neighbour out. We tried pulling some dark reds but the ground is just too wet. Beans are wet. 25-30% moisture. The days are getting too short to dry much. Quality is deteriorating fast. Winter is a comin. Lots of fields are starting to get written off. The problem with a lot of fields around here was that the plants eemed to shut down in the drought and then took off again when we got some moisture delaying maturity.
