Nc Ks.
Run a late production 750. Like everything about it except it still has the old style press-wheel bearings. 1560 or newer would solve that issue. Would't go smaller than 15 ft. Thats slow enough the way it is. Around here, the few guys that bought ones without dolly wheels in the front traded them for ones with the wheels. I farm some hill slopes and terraces and a 4240 will pull it anywhere I go with no problems. If you are intending on planting soybeans I prefer like the JD type of system that has an angled closing wheel. Around here the drills such as crustbuster or sunflower with just the straight rubber press/depth guaging wheel don't always get the seed covered. Of course our soils and yours are probably different so that wouldn't be a problem. Any drill works for wheat.
