I agree with sheep herder. I can live with fixing stuff but counting on some thing and finding out it is broke can be expensive. I would be glad he told me and get a new one myself. You may have a bad day some time too. If he has livestock he might not be in a situation where he feels like he can buy one. Some times people forget what it is like to be down to the last dime.
