ND
I converted my 16 row with precision's kits last year. Controlled with their row flow system. I variable rated with very quick responses going into and out of zones. Slow starts in corners were instant, stopping in the field was really good (no skips) too. I run half width sections with the motors (no clutches) and was right on from the start with no adjustments after it was calibrated.

I searched the forum quite a bit and there is a lot of good info/experience with planter drives with pics. I am not a precision diehard like some. I just wanted a system that worked with the features that I wanted. From what I read the experiences good/bad were dictated more by the controller and not the motor type. My advice is to use what your controller is best setup for.
