southern Alberta | rodrod5, that has to be one of the best thought out and articulated posts i have read here in quite a while! I can only comment as to goings on "here" in the car buisiness. I will not buy at a city dealership for the reasons you articulate above. So far, we still have small town dealers that have the same sales staff year after year,and they can actually make a decision as to the deal. They remember you when you come in for service also. Heck, I have even had a call from them asking if i wanted to trade my vehicle because it has been 3-4 yrs and we have a sale for one like yours, and discounts on a new one. Can"t blame them for trying. One local dealer we are going on the 3rd generation buying from the same salesman. | |
