Brookston, IN | There are cables available to get GPS signal into the Pro600 from most light bars for logging the position during harvest. If you don't already have a lightbar then you could add a receiver.
SMS is a desktop software that you can inport the data from the Pro600 to make yield maps.
If you want autosteer the most cost effective method would be an EZguide250 w/ AG15 antenna and a EZ Steer. There are adapter cables to take the GPS signal from the 250 into the Pro600. We went that route this year on our 2588 so we could cut beans on a slight angle with the autosteer. The EZsteer can then be moved to a tillage tractor post harvest and in the spring. | |
