Too close to Raleigh, NC
http://www.kbs-coatings.com/tank-sealers.html Lots of info there. I used their product on my 63 Ford 2000 when it developed a crack in one of the spot welds on the support bracket. No way to solder/weld it and the tank was fairly clean so I sealed it. Cleaning out the old stuff inside is the chore - I used a handful of mixed machine nuts from 1/4" up to maybe 1/2" and rolled it around pretty good. Rinsed it with diesel the first time and then agitated it again and rinsed it with some acetone then let it dry. I used some old PM Industries silver paint I had laying around on the outside so mine should be good to go for another 50 years.
