| I will agree that having to close and open fields all the time to make setting changes is a pain in the butt. Boot time is painful too. And settings that should load from the previous use don't, and have to be configured.
I have been using the trimble products since '09 and kinda know what to expect.
Mine has surface, yield mon, and autopilot unlocks. I use it for steering the planter/drill, combine monitor, gps topo surveys, and tile plow controller. So I don't go anywhere without it.
Once you get onto it, it's not so bad though, and for most things it works great. Any new technology can be a total pain at first, but once you get used to it you forget the learning frustration.
