I don't know what your otterbox case is, but I can tell you that with a gumdrop case on an Ipad, the Ram Tab-Tite will not work well. Clamping the tab-tite on the Ipad with the gumdrop results in shutting off the Ipad because the tab-tite pushes on the gumdrop, which pushes the On/Off button. Also, the dc power in port is no longer accessible thru the gum drop.

This is no fault of either product by itself, it's the fault of combining the products. Take the gumdrop case off & the Ram tab-tite is fine. The gum drop is an unbelievable case....but again, not in the midst of the Ram Tab-tite.

Again, I know absolutely nothing about an otterbox, but if it's anything like a gumdrop, you may be disappointed. I was.
