It depends on who works together to solve the problem and who doesn't.  Criticizing either side for inability to work together when you have no intention of working together is not in the best interests of the country.

Jim

We already knew Obama wouldn't work with the other side. I guess we'll never know about Romney.
Obama won't work with the other side? Excuse me but as soon as Obama got elected the first time the majority of assholes (republicans) made it their motto to disagree with Obama on everything and to do everything in their power to prevent him from being reelected. He got reelected. But they did a damn good job of disagreeing with him and making it look like he didn't do anything. He can't do anything when the assholes (republicans) blatantly state that they aren't going to agree with him no matter what. Everyone likes to blame the faults on the president but he can't do anything without approval of congress.

Which party held the majority in each house of Congress when Obama was elected?  What did they get done?

The same commentator I mentioned below, this evening noted that exit polls indicated that the majority of voters wanted smaller government.  He thought there was a disconnect there with Obama being reelected.  I see Senator Reed is talking about mandates.  MANDATES??  Mandates to what.  The country does not like where our country is going but some seem to have a love affair with Obama inspite of where he is trying to take our country.  As with all love affairs, deep down, they know better but they just cannot stop.

BTW, you seem to have quite the command of the language!  I want to thank you and Jim for taking this thread into blaming and finger pointing.  Sore winners?   Or were there any winners at all?
