Thanks, that's what I thought. We do have hail damage in our county, but nothing significant on our land in 30 years. For the size of the premium I think I am better off self insuring for a rare hail loss as long as multi-peril protects against catastrophic events.


Hopefully I don't have to choke on this statement, but I'm having a hard time buying any insurance besides hail insurance. Atleast hail covers transportation of grain and some other things for minimal cost.

We've had 2 dry years now and I'm questioning why I buy insurance, I think I'm better off putting that money in the offering plate.
