haskell county, ks | sf1 is not fine. we have sf1 on 9760 combine and it works fine for wheat harvest but the drift on it is substantial. we can't move from one area of the field to another without guessing which way to pull into the rows as it may be 15" off. all planted on rtk. i completely agree with nh9870. i know the expense of guidance is very high as we have a huge amount invested, but don't almost get there and then be completely frustrated that auto steer is not up to the task. if the job you are doing requires precision such as cultivating then make the correct investment. knifing nh3 with single knife between 30" rows you will get along on sf2, but will probably still need to be ready to side shift, but that is still far better than driving . | |
