Subject: flash card in pf3000 monitor

Bardstown,KY

I have a scan-disk card adaptor with a lexar 128mb compactflash card plugged into it.I plugged all of this into my pf3000 and it says it is checking card ,waited a good bit seems to be stuck .I read in the book that the cards need to be formated DOS could this be my problem if so how do you format the card. Thanks ahead for help. Todd
