When I was at K-State ag engineering had a combine with the clean grain elevator mounted on scales. Apparently it was not the answer because that was the last I saw of it. This was in the late 80's early 90's before there was such a thing as a yield monitor on the market. If Dr's Schrock and Tayler are reading this I'd bet they can tell us all about it.
