Diet: If you are used to GS calibrations, you need to think differently when calibrating an AL... You can fill a semi, or two or ? many when you start harvesting, but you need to change loads in the monitor for each truckload. Than you can go back anytime and enter the correct weights, moisture, etc. for each truckload after you have the weigh tickets back. The monitor will then re-calibrate itself and re-calculate the values for those loads, and any other loads in the same grain type, when you go thru the calibration screens. Of course, you won't see the exact correct numbers in the monitor while you're harvesting until you re-calibrate, but neither do you have to hold up harvest waiting on a truck weight to come back. You can keep running, and the monitor will "fix" the loads previous to re-calibration.
AL does recommend using a 250 bu. load for calibration, but I wouldn't get too hung up on that...if I were in your situation, I would send full loads, and calibrate with them.
Good luck!
Ken
