The results of the study (tumors) are consistent with the first European study performed years ago in Scotland by a pro-GMO doctor who wasn't expecting such negative results. I doubt it impacts human health in the same way though, as we don't eat corn products as 10% of our diet, but maybe some people eating a lot of junk food and drinking a lot of pop do. And as the ultimate link in the food chain, many of the pesticides and other toxic substances accumulate in our liver and fat cells without degrading, so they certainly lower our health.

As much as I try to stay away from all junk food, I noticed that my favorite blackberry preserves contain corn syrup, so now all I can think about is how sinister it is that "tumeur" (tumor, in French) sounds just like "tu meurs" (you die)... ;)
