North Central Kansas | It was throwing over a fair amount. Several of the combines had trouble with that yesterday. The ear size was small so some of that could have been header loss.
The Versatile was pretty crude under the shields. At least we thought so. The birotor concept was interesting. The other thing I noticed was the fins on the back of the rotor were welded on and did not look to be replaceable. From runnining a IH rotor I can see where that will be a problem down the road. We didn't look it over too close but just noticed those things. It was on the Northeast corner and the wind was horrible so we kept on going.
It would have to be alot cheaper in my opinion to ever justify buying one. | |
