Like you, I hate fancy complicated technology. I bought an Outback S a few years ago and it's really simple to operate. I mostly use the straight A-B guidance but it also has the capability for contour guidance.

I like this unit for it's simplicity but am not endorsing or promoting it because the original unit was replaced under warrantee and now two years later, out of warrantee, this one is in a repair shop in Indiana getting fixed. Somthing about a bad chip and I've been without it for two weeks... in the middle of spraying season :-(.

I don't know if their quality control is lacking or if I'm just unlucky.
