Subject: Yellow something in the crankcase

Woodham, Ontario
Have got a late 2005 NH TM190 tractor which now has around 750 hours. Was changing the engine oil, which looked good after 300 hours, but when I wanted to put the new oil in I noticed there was a yellow liquid sticking to the filler cap, when I wiped it off it looked orange on the cloth... Any idea what this could be? Tractor runs great, coolant is where it should be. The oil that came out of the engine looks like it should, no visible signs of coolant in it. Dealer tech took a sample of it today, hopefully they can determine what it is. He had never seen it before. The tractor has been running John Deere Plus 50 motor oil. He looked at the oil seperator canister thing that is mounted above the engine but it looks fine. Still gonna be replaced with a new one that supposedly was designed for the new NH Titan tractors (TM replacement), but those have not come in yet.
