I'm looking at upgrading to a 12 row bulk fill planter. I am pretty much sold on one but have a couple of questions. If I only have a couple of bags of seed to seed can I put them in the bulk seed hoppers and know that the system will distribute the seed evenly over the 6 rows they feed? Or does it fill the inner row mini hoppers first and then fill each one until they are full or run out of seed? I wold like to do some custom work and may have some clients that only have a small acreage to seed.
I really like the case 1250 planter seed unit but have herd they wear fast and may have some set up problems. I was at a farm show and saw a demo of the seed unit and singultors in action. I was impressed.
