My planter says SeedStar on the frame. 2001 1770. Not sure what that gives you other than a digital display of the vac and fert. A brown box displays planter population, fertilizer and vac pressure. I use an 1800 for steering. The 1800 can also display planter functions. 1800 displays coverage and swathcontrol function. Is it true the displays only accept operator input, display results and the planter control is done by the rate controller on the planter? There is a page on the 1800 that says when an on/off signal is sent to the clutches. That display does not match clutch function.

The harness was new with the swathcontrol. It has the capacity to handle four clutches. I have two clutches. Half-width disconnect. Yes, I believe two wires per clutch but four leads off the harness so eight wires to control a maximum four clutches. Two leads are used, one per clutch. That allowed us to use the other two leads to test the system.
