Central Il Morton
All I can say is that I haven't had to replant any SB [ or thicken the stand with a planter] since I got rid of my drill. Seemed like I always had a thin stand some place because of the inconsistent depth of the drill.
It took 3 weeks to get them all up to see the final stand and the high population rate was enough to make the switch back to a planter.
Now I have a good stand at a lot lower seed cost without a reduction of yield.

Good Luck.
