Subject: RE: 15 inch vs 30 inch beans

I used to double pland my beans since I didn't have a 15" planter, and quit 3 years ago. It took forever to plant twice. but more importantly ,more air flow for both white mold controll as well as if we would get any rust.
the biggest drawback is if you use the full MONSANTO WEATHERMAX for glypfo. they will only pay for re-spray for beans planted in rows 15" or less.
since most are using a more generic glyfo. these days and the cost down so much the respray issue isn't hardly worth talking about but the wider rows for air flow are more important to me. I do also agree bigger planters enter into it too.
