Subject: How to Combine DEM files into one DEM

Nebraska
Nebraska Databank sends these out in several parcels... I'm using a program called sdts2dem.exe to convert from DDF files to DEM's. in the process it asks for the first 4 characters of the DDF files i'm converting which is perfect for creating each parcel individually as each parcel has different first 4 characters. so i can't just lump all the files into one folder and turn this program loose!. but what I want to do is create ONE Digital Elevation Model for the county to simplify importing into GIS. Am I going about this wrong? Any advice? Any software? I have arcview and SMS. does arcview have a tool for this?
