Subject: Using Prowl in no-till

Southern Illinois

How well does it work at controlling grasses as a preplant application with burn down chemicals? Any other residual grass herbicides out there that can be used in no-till?

All of my early beans I just ran glyphosate,2-4D, and a sulfentrazone product but I know I'll have to come back with Select soon. (also see ragweed coming up even in the sulfentrazone treated ground) Looking to get away from needing to spray for grass after emergence. Also got a few fields to doublecrop beans in that have a bad grass problem I can't seem to get killed off with using RU for burn down and Select on a second trip. Grass keeps comming back. Chokes down wheat in the spring and beans.
