I am doing the dirt work now to lay concrete in my 42x60, and am planning to heat the floor. You mention a plastic tarp, what is the idea there? Also, I got an estimate from Mike's Heating for my floor heat system for right at $3000 for everything. If I recall the tube and fittings were the first $1800 and the boiler was $1200. Sound reasonable? Finally, they said to lay the tube in 3-5" of sand under the slab rather than tying to the rebar...your thoughts here??? Thanks for the help! | |
