southern MN | Most of my buying is at auction sales, just parts from the dealers.
I too got a NH little tractor from a dealer a few years ago. Salesman was real friendly, a week later I went to ask about the manual & stuff I was supposed to get with it, they were too busy to talk to me, only the parts person around. Huh.
Called the following week, & 'my salesman' was not available.
Stopped down the following week (this is an hour drive) with a bit more spring in my step, and was told 'my salesman' no longer works there, and they didn't know anything about a manual or SMV emblem or the rest..... (They came in the mail the following week - I was kinda tired of being treated so abruptly & they got that point finally..... ;)
Never got any followup, postcard, flier, etc. etc. from them. No spring show, no nothing.
I feel like more of a 'person' from places I buy $35 worth of parts in a year, than from this dealer I made a major purchase from.
Always struck me as odd. 'Something' musta been going on at that dealership, I really haven't gone back. Very strange attitude from them.
