Subject: Children are Children they're not little adults

S.E. Iowa
Big deal you child got wet, you know what they will not melt and they will dry out, if you want to punish them for it make them sit in there wet clothes till they dry out. But remember that child soaking wet has had an expierence in there life they will never forget , and they will be better for having it. You told her 50 times in the last few days to stay close but she runs away. Maybe what your missing is that she a child looking at a new place with the wonder and curiousity of a child, maybe you are the one who should follow her and see what she wants to explore. Have you never seen a child who gets a really fancy present and yet chooses to play with the box it came in instead. There is a chance your child is Dyslexic(ADD} but if she is treat it as a gift instead of a disability. Dyslexic children are often labeled in our schools as problem students and disrupters, who are best controlled by medications. The real truth is that they more times than not have higher IQs and the abilities to comprehend and learn at a faster pace than other children. Its this ability that allows them to become bored with the repitition that exsist in school. People who were dyslexic were John Kennedy, General Patton , DeVenchi, Washington Jefferson, Edison, Einstein, Winston Churchill and many others. Dont allow you child to be labeled or compartmentized because they show a free spirit.
