2-3, I've ran it from 0-4 and really doesn't seem to make a great difference in capacity. I do agree with a previous poster that said running tight in tough conditions reduces the chances of slugging. The same with running 6-800 rotor rpms helps pull tough stuff through, but doesn't seem to increase capacity much.
