NW Washington | Twelve gauge metal is tough to bend with any jump brake. I would be looking for a used hydraulic press brake for 12 gauge steel. Or order the steel pre-broke by the steel supplier if you have your design/plans drawn up for what you are building. You can often fax or email the supplier your plans and they will do the bending and cutting for a nominal fee. Might be cheaper than buying a brake in the long run and no screw-ups. Check google.com for used brakes, sometimes you can get a real bargain. My brother once got a huge old mechanical press brake for just hauling it away.
That said, Enco is an ok source. Grizzly has good "Chinese" metal working machines too. http://www.grizzly.com | |
