Walnut Grove MN USA | can't help much with the engine but as far as the truck it depends on the year. Up thru the 97 year they have some wiring problems that can be hard and expensive to fix. the 98 up to 2003 look pretty similar to the older ones but is a much different truck. The 2004 to present are considered by some to be the Cadillac of the trucks. We have a 94' and a 95' and the 94 has some of the wiring issues that nobody has been able to figure out yet.
