Ted,

I have not checked what the speed source for the gps is and that may be what's getting me in trouble. I'll check it today - though it worked perfectly yesterday. All the flap about the changing satellite configuration got me thinking that direction.

After not getting anywhere and spending $35 on a usb to serial convertor and an elevator opening for corn again, I decided to put off the upgrade until later.
