We use it on our navy beans.     Check with an agronomist (call an edible bean guy) on substituting basagran for crop oil.    Its been a year, so I cant remember for sure. I think Basagran is considered a "safener" and kills your nutsedge.    We did this last year and the setback from the chemical seemed not to bad.

Flexstar will smoke waterhemp.
