| My only suggestion is to do do more research on your own. There is a ton of material out there. In general, what I think you will find is that 2.5 acres grids are about the max you can go and have any hope of the interpolation being useful. And this is with the grid point method, not grid average. Sample pattern makes a difference, too. The systematic unaligned grid is robust, but from a practical standpoint few, if any, are using it.
But, this is also dependent on your location. Has your land grant university (or one from a neighboring state) made any recommendations in this subject? Most have.
