Subject: 12 Volt to 12 Volt Regulated Power Supply

This may help with signal loss when running HP or XP with Trimble GPS.  http://www.davidnavone.com/ has a 2 amp buck/boost power supply for $100.  You should only run the gps unit with this, it does not have enough power to run the entire autosteer system.  This is really cheap for a power supply that will output 13 volts even when the input voltage drops to 9 volts.  Trimble GPS units seem to be very sensitive to supply voltage.  I call them up and make them take my credit card and order information over the phone, they do not have a secure Internet order system.  This is a high end car stereo parts outfit and apparently stereo installers don't care about web security.
