If you are using a Trimble 252 GPS receiver, you can change your convergence using a laptop. First, download Ag Remote to your laptop. Next, plug your laptop into your Autopilot wiring harness that says laptop. You'll have to bare with me on this next part as I'm not fluent in Ag Remote. Anyway, using Ag Remote to connect to your 252, go to DGPS settings and then scroll down until you see something about XP/HP convergence. It is probably defaulted to 12" but you can change that up to 40". Now I wouldn't want to be out there planting or strip tilling when my convergence is that high but it works in a pinch when you just want the darn Autopilot to engage after running beside a tree line for a half mile. Not knowing the details of Deere's SF2 signal, is it possible that they will let you engage steering at a higher convergence as well?
