We had literally 25 inches of rain between July 26 and the end of the soybean growing season. There was a wet band from NW Iowa, SW Wi, and N Ill that got alot of rain at the right time. I think that is what made the difference around here. I suspect the USDA estimate to be way low on these acres that got alot of rain. However, the boys at the local elevator say most guys are reporting mid 40's to mid 50's yields which is pretty average around here. I sprayed for aphids and spider mites and most around here did not.
