here are a few things that have worked well for me:

cooked oatmeal - just put a sploch on the blister and let it dry - replace when needed

vinegar with a q-tip  - dab it right on there as much as you like - smell may be strong

baking soda paste - use it like the oatmeal a few drops of water to a pile of baking soda makes a good amount of paste

calamine lotion with a q-tip - dab it right on as much as you like

dish washing soap - dab is on with a q-tip as much as you like

mud

i have two sons and these worked for me  very well.  hope you feel better.
