Lancaster, OH
Many times you can find jewelweed growing in the same area. It gets about 3' tall but has really juicy stems you can break open and rub on the area.

My wife uses bleach on the spots with a Q-tip. Seems extreme but it works for her to dry them up.

I got in trouble with her over Poison Ivy. I'd been cutting some in the woods for a motorcycle event. On the way home, I stopped by her house (we were dating). A few days later she had it on her right neck and under her left arm. It seemed I aggravated it when I gave her a hug. Guess where she got it? A new rule--no touching before a shower. Today I get to do my own laundry when I am in the stuff!!
