If he's filling the house up and selling it at a profit or making money on storage he's doing his job. His job is to make the coop money. If his bid is too low and he is not getting enough grain to utilize his facility, then he's messing up. If he's getting all he can hold, cheaper is better. A grain elevator, like most any other business, has to take all the margin it can get.
