Ron, This type of strip till will just not work in less than 30" rows. Not enough room to put the residue and it goes on from there. It does work nicely in stripper head harvested wheat stubble if you strip till 30" strips into the wheat in the late summer or early fall. Our later versions of the Pluribus can handle a massive amount of wheat straw. I have some photos but not on this computer.
We have northern folks strip tilling corn into stripper head wheat then strip tilling edible beans between the standing corn stalks. If you then go over them with a roller it has lots of benefits. Pushes down rocks, makes the edible bean harvest much easier and also kinks the standing corn stalks so they break down faster in the north under the bean canopy. Or you can strip till flowers between the standing corn stalks....lots of possibilities. Jim at Dawn
